Shipping and Delivery

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

The following outlines what to expect from the moment you place your order to the day your piece arrives.

LEAD TIMES:

Pieces in the Maison Mermont collection are made to order or sourced directly from our makers in Portugal, France, Belgium, and Thailand. Select custom pieces are produced locally in Connecticut and New York. Lead times vary by piece and are listed on each individual product page. As a general guide, please allow 8 to 14 weeks for pieces sourced from Europe, and 4 to 8 weeks for locally produced custom work, depending on the maker and current production schedule.

These are estimates. On occasion, circumstances outside our control – production schedules, material availability, or shipping delays – may affect the timeline. You will be notified as soon as we are aware of any change to your order.

For time-sensitive projects, we recommend contacting us before placing your order so we can confirm current availability and provide an accurate timeline for your specific piece.

SHIPPING COSTS:

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order. You will see the exact shipping cost before completing your purchase.
For custom pieces, shipping charges will be added in your quote.

DELIVERY:

All furniture and lighting orders ship via freight carrier to addresses within the continental United States.

Two delivery options are available:

Curbside Delivery
Your piece is delivered to the entrance of your home, building lobby, or loading dock. Delivery is by appointment. A signature is required.

White Glove Delivery
Your piece is delivered to your room of choice, unpacked, and all packaging materials are removed. Delivery is by appointment through our third-party carrier. A signature is required. White glove delivery is available at checkout for an additional fee, calculated based on your order and location.

We strongly recommend white glove delivery for large furniture pieces and all lighting. Please ensure all access points – doorways, hallways, elevators, and staircases – are measured before your delivery appointment.

DAMAGED ITEMS:

Always inspect your delivery for damage before signing with the shipping agent. If your order arrives damaged, please follow these important steps:

REPORT ALL DAMAGE(S), visible or concealed, immediately. If a damage claim is not made within 48 hours, your claim will be denied.

DOCUMENT all signs of damage on delivery paperwork before signing!

REFUSE THE SHIPMENT if the packaging is severely damaged.

SAVE ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS until further notice, as the carrier may mandate an inspection.

TAKE PICTURES of all damage(s) and all packaging materials (outer and inner).

SUBMIT YOUR CLAIM immediately and send photos to: [email protected]

We will work to arrange a replacement or resolution as quickly as possible. Damage claims submitted outside the 48-hour window cannot be accepted.
